1. Who we are

EUDAMED Mapper provides data cleaning and XML generation services for medical device companies and consultants preparing EUDAMED submissions.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following personal and business data:

  • Contact information: Name, email address, company name (when you contact us via email or our website).
  • Client product data: CSV/Excel files containing product IDs, names, statuses, catalog numbers, and marketing dates (shared voluntarily for EUDAMED processing).
  • Usage data: We do not use cookies or tracking scripts on this landing page.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes.
  • To generate EUDAMED XML files from your product data.
  • To improve our data cleaning tool (anonymised pattern recognition only - no identifiable data).
  • To send you occasional updates about our services (opt-out anytime).

4. Data sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers that are GDPR compliant:

  • Sync.com - zero-knowledge cloud storage for file exchange. Files are encrypted before upload and deleted after 30 days.
  • Zoho Mail - email hosting for team@eudamedmapper.com (GDPR compliant, data stored in EU).

5. Data retention

Client product data is automatically deleted from our systems 30 days after delivery of the cleaned XML. Email correspondence is kept for as long as we have an active business relationship, and archived thereafter for legal reasons up to 6 years.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU, you have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use encryption (TLS, AES-256) and enforce strict access controls. We do not store client files on unencrypted local drives.

8. Changes to this policy

We will post updates here. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
